Ask yourself if you have the desire and passion be in this business and if you have the skills. If you have a career or have had a few jobs in the past, you may already have many of the skills it takes to be a successful wedding planner and not know it. For instance, do you organize people and events, create time schedules, and manage projects in your current position? Do you also manage people and frequently hold leadership roles? If so, you have some of the skills and experience it takes to be a wedding planner.
